Juicero

2016 -2017

The Juicero Press was a device for fruit and vegetable juicing. This baby went all in with a $700.00 (later reduced to $400) price tag and Wi-Fi connection. The juicer used single-serving packets of chopped fruits and vegetables sold exclusively by subscription. Consumers quickly cried sour grapes after Bloomberg News published a video showing that the juice packs could be squeezed by hand just as easily and effectively as the juicer. Basically, the pricey over-engineered machine was completely useless. It lasted 16 months on the market. This important artifact was donated on opening day by our friends in failure here in Los Angeles.
